FAQ
Where do your horses come from? - Most of our horses come from the New Holland Auction. Others come from private sellers, and owner surrenders.
If I adopt / rehome a horse from you do you still own it? No, if you adopt / rehome a horse you then own him/her.
Will you ever become a non-profit? Yes, we are in the process but it takes awhile.
Are your horses what you say they are? Yes, we will disclose all information we have on the horse including health problems, lameness, and vices. We see no point in you getting a horse you're not happy with, because the horse will end up suffering.
Do you do training for other people? Sometimes, call Bob at 717-324-0308 for more information.
What payment methods do you accept? We prefer cash, but can also take personal checks and credit cards through paypal. You can even paypal with your checking account through paypal.
Will you hold a horse until we can pick it up? Yes but the horse must be paid for upfront, and we will charge 5.00 per day in board to be paid when the horse is picked up (board starts the day he's paid for and ends the day he is picked up nomatter what time of day it is).
If we rehome a horse, can you haul it for us? Yes, we charge 1.00 per loaded mile to haul them.
If we like a horse and schedule an appointment, will you hold him for us? We will try to schedule other appts until you get a chance to see him but I can't "hold" them for anyone until the adoption contract is signed.
Can I see the horse the same day I inquire about them? Sometimes yes, but usually no. Our work schedules have changed which leads us to not being home during the day very often, so we normally only have 1 or 2 days open during the week, and some weekends. Please plan to schedule a week in advance whenever possible.
